How do former dementia caregivers meet their basic psychological needs?
Bereaved Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD) caregivers have a common set of needs that influence clinical and subclinical outcomes. However, subgroups may meet those needs in different ways, based on evidence from self-determination theory and observations of bereaved AD/ADRD caregivers.
